On a silvery ground, fourteen round and oval murine portraits, including Robin Hood, Julius Caesar, Henry the VIII, Billy the Kid, Ulysses S. Grant and others, placed in circles. At its center, a murrini depicting a store with a well in front of it, two little girls playing and a building nearby. Clothes hang on a rope placed between the two structures. A double garland of square patterned murine frames the weight. On the underside of the weight is a bed of brown gold flecked ground; in its center a round signature cane with the artist’s full name written in calligraphic cursive around a brown ring and the date 2002.
